The Trade Fair continues to attract a record number of visitors to the New Qatar International Exhibition Center until Sunday 13 January.
'The show was over-subscribed this year and all the feedback we had from exhibitors and shoppers has been 100% positive,' commented De Guama.
Speaking at the Gala Dinner, Ossama Bourhan of Al Nayrouz, Egypt was impressed by the level of organisation at the International Trade Fair: 'In my experience, the International Trade Fair is the best organized and most profitable consumer exhibition in the Middle East.'
His words were echoed by Ali Nizam, representing Syria's Nizam Exhibitions: 'International Consumer Trade Fair is definitely the Gulf's premier consumer show. Organizer Qatar Expo is to be congratulated as it continues to improve the number and quality of products on sale, year after year.'
'Entrepreneurs contribute significantly to the Qatari economy with their energy and ability to seize business opportunities,' said Fernando De Guama, Qatar Expo Director - Exhibitions. 'They have helped the International Consumer Trade Fair grow 100% in 3 years, earning $70m for Qatar's economy.'
