Al Jazeera Network announces a new deal with hotel entertainment specialists Hoist, to make its channels available in leading European hotels.
The Network is dedicated to building its presence in European hotels and give travellers access to its groundbreaking content.
Hoist is a key partner for the Al Jazeera Network. Through direct agreements with leading film and TV companies and distributors, Hoist is able to recommend and provide hotels with a large variety of movies and programming. Modern hotels today need to offer a wide variety of programming to meet their guests' diverse tastes and growing demands. This means being able to offer a wide array of news, entertainment, sport, films, nature programmes and adventure.
The pioneering Arabic Al Jazeera Satellite Channel, which brought independent news and current affairs television to the region for the first time over eleven years ago, is recognized internationally for changing the face of news in the Middle East. Al Jazeera English, launched in 2006, is the first English language global news and current affairs channel to be headquartered in the Middle East, in Doha, Qatar. Al Jazeera English's dedicated page on YouTube is home to the website's most watched news channel.
