SNASCO recognized for its support of SCTDA

SNASCO was one of the main sponsors of the Sharjah Water Festival and the Sharjah Grand Prix, consisting of the final leg of the World Formula 1 Powerboat Championship. This sporting spectacular is one of the biggest annual events in Sharjah and draws over 50 000 visitors to the emirate each year.

The firm has long been an active participant in the overall development of the emirate of Sharjah, whether it be through its sponsorship of the various social and cultural events launched by the SCTDA or through its development of prime real estate projects, adding tangible value to the emirate's economy.

Upon receipt of the award, Dr Omar Al Mashaabi, General Manager of SNASCO, said,

'It is through the ceaseless support and extraordinary organising skills of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority that the emirate's businesses continue to flourish and prosper. The Authority takes an active interest in the community and in preserving its interests, both economic and cultural. The events that we sponsor in co-operation with the SCTDA benefit us as much as they do the emirate of Sharjah as a whole, since they afford us numerous opportunities to present our various projects to the public and to potential investors, both locally and internationally.'

One of the major projects currently under development by SNASCO is the much-awaited Sharjah Investment Centre, a comprehensive, mixed-use commercial development within close range of all major air and sea ports in the emirate of Sharjah. The SIC, aims to become a major industrial hub in the region, offering an expansive range of commercial and industrial facilities and amenities within an aesthetically master-planned community.
