DSF 2008 Lexus Mega Raffle witnesses huge response in ticket sales

Organised in cooperation with Al Futtaim Group, a key sponsor of DSF and one of the leading business houses in the region, the Lexus Mega Raffle has sold a massive 13,000 tickets in just 20 days.

Abdulla Amiri, DSF Senior Events Coordinator and Head of the Raffle Committee said,

"The Lexus Mega Raffle, organized in collaboration with Al Futtaim Group, has been popular from the very beginning when it was organized for the first time during the inaugural year of DSF in 1996. Since then, the stature of the draw, in terms of popularity and the prizes offered, has only increased."

"The number of Lexus raffle tickets sold as yet only confirms the ever-growing reputation of the draw. Every year, the DSF Office endeavours to enhance the winning element during the festival and this year, the organisers have come up with an extremely innovative idea for the raffle draw," said Amiri.

"While two Lexus cars will be given away to one winner daily, the same winner will also take home Dhs100,000 as cash prize but in a currency that he or she will choose through another draw the next day. In short, the winner might win a cash prize of Dhs750 or take home Dhs750,000. Without a doubt, the 2008 Lexus Mega Raffle is unique and will attract all raffle enthusiasts," he concluded.

The main stage at Global Village will be the venue for all Lexus Mega Raffle draws that will be conducted between 10pm and 11pm. As per the order of the draw, the winner of the Lexus cars will be announced who will then be asked to come the following day to choose the currency of the Dhs100,000 cash prize. The daily draws will be broadcast live on Sama Dubai TV.

Priced at Dhs200, the coupons for the Lexus Mega Raffle can be bought from select fuel stations of Eppco and Enoc and will also be available at special kiosks in Deira City Centre, Al Ghurair City, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Festival City, the Grand Mall, in addition to the Gold Souq, Baniyas Street, Sabkha Street, Naif, Al Fahidi Street, and the Global Village.
