UAE blocks roads for Bush - public holiday declared

With US president George Bush visiting the UAE, the Dubai government announced that Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed tomorrow from Garhoud to Al Barsha between 6am and 4.30pm. Al Wasl Road and Jumeirah Beach Road will also be closed in addition to the area around Umm Sequeim. Due to the anticipated traffic congestion, the government has also declared it a holiday for both public and private companies in Dubai.
