LG Mobile launch LG Viewty

The launch of the highly anticipated LG Viewty mobile has now reached Saudi Arabia. Since its launch in other countries, it has caused a cascade of industry and consumer interest in a number of its innovative features. Among these is Viewty's high-speed video recording function which, at 120 frames-per-second (fps), outmatches the speed and performance of even standalone digital cameras.

Equipped with LG Viewty's 120 fps video recording function, users can videotape extremely fast action around them and then play it back at much slower speeds of 15 fps. Now, one can take pleasure in viewing the everyday motions normally missed by the naked eye, from a bird's wings flapping to a bolt of lighting.

Researchers at LG developed the breakthrough '120 fps video recording' function in response to consumers' heightened interest in producing personal videos. The adoption of an ultra high-speed photography feature aims to deliver even more possibilities to users keen on living and enjoying their lives to the fullest. 'Consumer demand for high tech mobile phones is at its highest in Saudi Arabia, and we are pleased to be able to fulfil that demand with the Viewty' said Mr. Simon Lee, president of LG Electronics for Saudi Arabia.

LG Viewty boasts the capability to effectively process more video data than any other existing mobile phones with its high-speed video recording function, offering impressive QVGA-quality video recording at 120 fps. This industry-leading technology represents a perfect balance of functionality and efficiency by matching LG Viewty's memory processing capability with other video systems.

To develop this breakthrough camera technology for a handset LG conducted extensive experiments involving much trial-and-error. Through this process LG was able to develop innovative technology that has proven itself far superior to that of rival companies.

Motivated by a commitment to develop unique technology that fulfils consumers' deepest wishes, LG has introduced the LG Viewty in Europe in October, with an industry-first 120 frame-per-second video recording capability.
