Turkish companies to participate in Interiors & Buildex 2008

"With the implementation of large-scale development projects in the sultanate, more and more foreign companies are showing particular interest in Oman as a market for all types of building materials, construction equipment and interior furnishings," said C.J. Paul, general manager of Omanexpo LLC, the leading organiser of trade and consumer shows in the sultanate.

Paul revealed that, with the support of the government of Turkey, more than 30 Turkish companies have already confirmed their participation at Interiors & Buildex 2008, and all these companies will be grouped together in a Turkish pavilion to enable them to highlight the range of high-quality products available from Turkey. The pavilion will cover more than 500 square metres in area, thus ensuring that a wide selection of new products will be on display for industry professionals to check out.

According to Paul, the strong representation from Turkey will greatly add to the international flavor of this year's edition of Interiors & Buildex, which is the biggest exhibition in Oman for companies directly serving the sultanate's vibrant building and construction industry. In addition to the major presence of leading companies in Oman, the exhibition will also feature exhibitors from many other countries including Germany, Pakistan, India, the United Kingdom, Thailand, the UAE and other GCC countries.

Interiors & Buildex 2008 aims to contribute to the continued growth of the building and construction industry in Oman by showcasing products and services that can serve the requirements of property developers, construction companies, contractors, engineering firms, interior designers, and individual homeowners. Specifically, the products that will be displayed at the exhibition include bathroom fittings, air-conditioning systems, paint products, marble and other stone products, interior furnishings, construction tools and equipment as well as kitchen modules, lighting fixtures, ceramics and tiles, cement products and many other building materials.

Interiors & Buildex 2008 is supported by Windows 2000 as the platinum sponsor, Jotun Paints and Sadolin Paints as the gold sponsors, and IQue as the silver sponsor. The event is also endorsed by UK Trade and Investment, and its online media partners are Middle East Tenders and the BNC Network.
