'The prioritising of I.T. within Sheikh Mohammed's 'Dubai Vision 2010' strategy sends a clear message to the sector that we have all the backing and support we need on which to base our own forward-looking plans,' said Quentin Cornelius, Chief Operations Officer, Tech Access.
'It has recently been said that Arab countries are falling behind in the race to catch up with the West in creating a knowledge-based economy. It is clear that the Dubai government is meeting this challenge head-on and that it acknowledges the I.T. industry has big part to play. There is little doubt of the growth potential within the region and I believe we have only seen the beginning.'
The recently appointed Sun CDP, is currently consolidating its
relationships with the Sun reseller network around the Middle East but has a long-term view to expand its presence regionally, to add value and increased development to the Sun reseller channel.
'Our business is providing the complete support package for the Sun reseller network. As our business grows, so to will our physical presence across the region, 'Dubai Vision 2010' has strengthened confidence in our own long-term strategies,' said Cornelius.
