Cameron Ballendine joins Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh

From the Sultan of Oman to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Cameron Ballendine newly appointed Executive Chef at Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, comes with rich experience in preparing extravagant culinary functions for royalty and VIPs from around the world.
Cameron is a Canadian citizen who traded the cold Northern weather for the warm and sunny climate of the Middle East. He comes to Sharm El Sheikh from the UAE where he worked for The Fairmont Dubai as Senior Executive Sous Chef. Prior to this, Cameron worked for The Fairmont group in Canada in a variety of different properties and also worked for other global hotel brands such as Pan Pacific.
Cameron's culinary training was completed when he graduated from his three-year Canadian Culinary Apprenticeship and received the Canadian Culinary Interprovincial and Red Seal in 1992. More recently, he broadened his experience by training in Epernay, France in the kitchen of Moet & Chandon with Chef de Cuisine, Bernard Dance, and in the kitchen of Dom Perignon's Chateau de Saran with Chef de Cuisine, Pascal Tinqaud.
During his career, Cameron has also had the opportunity to cook alongside world-class chefs such as Albert Roux, Jean Louis Palladi, Asfaque and Irfan Qureshi, and Edwourd Lubae.
