Home to the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, the 18-hole, par 72 course is across 7,334 yards and has seven lakes and 90 bunkers. There is also a nine-hold, par 36 course, covering 3,299 yards. The club also comes with a 17-acre floodlit driving range and once a game is over, golfers can retire to the distinctive, falcon shaped club-house.

Arabian Ranches Golf Club is open to players with an official handicap. Golfers can book six days prior play, or turn up on the day and pay and play. It also has practice facilities on a flood-lit driving range, which is open until 8:30 pm everyday. Prices can be obtained from the reservation desk. Beginners can attend the Golf Academy, with lessons and help given by qualified PGA professionals.
Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club
A par 71 course that measures 6,857 yards next to the Creek in Dubai. The Creek comes into play at four holes, plus there are several artificial lakes at other holes. There are multiple tees on the holes so that golfers of all calibres can play. The final two holes are par 4, with the Creek guarding the entire left side of the fairway. The 18th, the club says, ‘requires mandatory cerebral involvement on every shot’, with water on the left and a long bunker on the right. It also has a Par 3 course, a well-equipped driving range and practice facilities, all of which are floodlit, plus PGA professionals are on hand at the Golf Academy.Emirates Golf Club
Emirates Hills, DubaiDubbed 'the Desert Miracle' when it opened in 1988, it was the first all-grass championship golf course in the Gulf region. It has two championship courses – and is home to tournaments such as the Desert Classic – as well as a nine-hole Par-3 course, the Emirates Golf Academy, practice facilities and two driving ranges. It hosted its first tournament (the PGA European Tour Desert Classic) in 1989.
Four Seasons Golf Club

Aimed at those that want to combine business with golf, it includes the Lawn, a function area that can hold up to 500 guests, between the clubhouse and the ninth green. The clubhouse is designed to ‘capture the swirl of a golfer’s swing’.
Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa

A nine-hole, par 36, championship standard resort course that is used as a curtain raiser to the Dubai Desert Classic. The course features a saltwater lake, which comes into play on five holes and has views of the Arabian Gulf. Players must hold an official handicap certificate (a maximum of 28 for men and 45 for ladies) or hold a current playing certificate or be a very experienced non-handicap player. Beginners can use the practice facilities or take golf lessons.
The Montgomerie

Set in the Emirates Hills residential community, the course was designed by Colin Montgomerie in association with Desmond Muirhead. It covers 265 acres, which consist of 123 acres of turf, 49 acres of man-made lakes (14 in total), 93 acres of landscaped gardens and has 81 large bunkers. One of the signature holes is the par 5 fourth, dubbed the Snake hole for its saddleback fairway which doglegs towards the green, with two bunkers behind forming the eyes of the snake. The par 3 thirteenth, a hole designed in the shape of the UAE.
Tower Links, Ras Al Khaimah
Tel: +971 (0)7 227 8553An 18-hole, par 72 course that is 7,200 yards in length, it opened in 2004. The course meanders through a mangrove reserve with the Hajar Mountains behind it. The back nine holes and practice facilities are fully floodlit for night play. Players must have a valid handicap or playing certificate and must have their own clubs and golf bag.
