Dubailand a DSF key sponsor for third consecutive year

Dubailand, a member of Tatweer, announced its sponsorship for the upcoming edition of Dubai Shopping festival. This will be Dubailand's third consecutive year as a key sponsor of the annual shopping and entertainment extravaganza.

The 13th edition of the festival will be held from 24 January-24 February, 2008 under the theme 'Fifth Season'.

Mohammed Al Habbai, Chief Executive Officer, Dubailand, The leisure and entertainment destination, said, "Once again, Dubailand is proud to be one of the main sponsors of the event that attracts millions of visitors and residents. Global Village, another member of Tatweer and the prime location for culture, cuisine and commerce during DSF, has lined up several new events this year to attract shoppers and culture enthusiasts."

The spectacular annual show has registered extraordinary growth over the years since its launch, with each feature packed edition proving to be a more exciting extravaganza for the ever growing numbers of local, regional and overseas visitors.

Apart from hosting the Global Village, Dubailand features several projects such as the Dubai Heritage Vision, Dubai Sports City, Motor City, Falcon City and Al Barari that are under various phases of development. Initial infrastructure work on the Polo and Equestrian Club and the City of Arabia is currently in progress.
