Dubai Bank has announced its sponsorship for the event to join other leading companies and financial institutions such as Tanmiyat Investment Group, Ajman Marina, Commercial Bank of Dubai, and Beacon Contracting, in sponsoring this widely popular horse show.

Speaking of the sponsorship, Mr. Mohammed Juma, Head of Corporate Communication at Dubai Bank, said: "We believe that sport has a significant role in developing communities. Islam encourages people to engage in sport and stresses horse riding. Sponsoring this event, we translate our commitment to supporting various social activities".

He added, "We would like to convey our heartfelt thanks for H.H. Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, for giving us this opportunity as well as for his generous support and direct follow for various sporting, social and cultural activities. It is really a great honor to be one of the participants in this prestigious sporting event".

He continued: "As the purpose of the event is to raise money for charity, this sponsorship reflects our solidarity with all segments of society and is consistent with our mission to be an important force that is helping the community and those less fortunate".

Since it was first launched in 2003, the Ajman Arabian Horse Show has gained much local and international exposure. It receives many dignitaries and honored guests including a number of their highness sheikhs of the UAE, local and international VIPs and elite breeders.

The UAE is one of the original homelands for Arabian horse which is considered as a living part of the country rich culture, history and heritage. The initiatives of Their Highnesses Sheikhs of the UAE have been a major boost for the effort to preserve the Arabian horses, document ancestries, and maintain original bloodlines. Arabian horse festivals and activities have become one of the most eagerly awaited events in the seven emirates, particularly in Ajman.

For centuries, the qualities that have made this breed stand apart from all others - beauty, grace, agility, courage, intelligence, endurance, extraordinary stamina, speed and affection for its owner - have endeared the Arabian horse to owners and enthusiasts alike.
