- PRESS RELEASE
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars sales in the Middle East increased by more than 40% in 2007, compared to 2006.
Peter Schoppmann, Regional Director Rolls-Royce Motor Cars for the Middle East "This region has been a crucially important for Rolls-Royce for many decades. The 2007 results emphasise its' significance for our worldwide business development with two dealerships now amongst the top five dealerships in the world and strong growth right across the other GCC markets."
"This growth was based on an increase demand for Phantom four-door models as well as the additional momentum of the new Drophead Coupé launch," he added.
Rolls-Royce now has three models in its product range, with the new Drophead Coupé joining the four-door Phantom and Phantom Extended Wheelbase. The company has recently celebrated a new worldwide record result with sales of 1010 cars - an increase of 25%. The Phantom remains the best-selling super luxury car in the world.
Later this year, a new two-door coupe will join the Phantom line-up and looking further ahead a new Rolls-Royce model series will be launched in 2010, to sit alongside the Phantom range.
