Saudi Telecom profit rises 9%

Saudi Telecom, the Arab world's largest phone company, said quarterly profit rose for the first time in six quarters, reported Bloomberg. Fourth-quarter net income rose 9.3% to 3.05bn riyals ($813.4m) from 2.79bn riyals in the year- earlier period. The company gave no explanation for the rise.
