During WFES, Tabreed will demonstrate its district cooling solutions, highlighting their cost-efficiency and benefits to the environment.

"We trust the 3-day event will draw a professional audience and we plan to take the opportunity to introduce Tabreed and showcase our system and services," said Dany Safi, Tabreed CEO.

"Also, we will gladly help answer queries on Tabreed and the district cooling industry," he added.

WFES, which is being held under the auspices of Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is bringing together leaders from the commercial and governmental development sectors and their counterparts from in innovation and technology to promote alternative and renewable energy systems. In addition to the exhibition, the summit also includes a specialist conference focusing on global policies and strategies for sustainable and renewable energy. The speakers list, a brilliant line-up of experts, includes government, business and NGOs representatives.

"WFES provides a unique opportunity for innovators like Tabreed to exhibit its alternative solution. For us, that's district cooling, which provides cooling services that have proven to be economical while contributing to the reduction in greenhouse gas emission," Safi concluded.

Tabreed, the Middle East's award-winning district cooling pioneer, has been at the forefront of the industry for almost a decade now and has provided cooling services to 473 buildings covering a total of 149.9 million square feet in 2007 in the GCC as well as the wider Middle East.

These achievements helped the company scoop two gold awards from the US-based International District Energy Association (IDEA) - which works to advance global environmental quality through efficient district energy systems.
