  • United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, January 22 - 2008 at 07:24

A study by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has found that the emirate could face a shortage of 20,000 housing units by the end of the year, reported Gulf News. The report says the shortage has become more evident as the population of Abu Dhabi has doubled over the past few years. The shortage is expected to increase inflation and raise the cost of living in the emirate.
