Ajman Executive Council delegation applauds success of Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development

His Excellency Ahmed Bin Byat, Secretary General of Dubai Executive Council, and Adel Rashid Al-Shared, Director of Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development, received a delegation from Ajman led by His Excellency Saeed Saif Al Matroushi, Secretary General of the Ajman Executive Council.
His Excellency Bin Byat briefed the Ajman delegation on the distinctive initiatives and development plans implemented by the Dubai government. He also underlined the role of the government in developing a knowledge driven economy through focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship and effective execution.
He said: "The initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, to establish the Programme reflects his futuristic vision and the importance he attaches to creating high calibre leaders to guide the country's development. The Programme has helped many young UAE nationals gain relevant qualifications and skill sets to enable the country keep pace with global development."
Adel Al-Shared, Director of Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development, said since its launch in 2003, the Programme has enabled several government authorities and institutions to achieve excellence by providing them with qualified and competent individuals capable of driving development at various levels.
He said: "We have provided critical support to organizations in Dubai and are keen to extend this backing to other emirates as well. Our partnership with leading global institutions has given us the required proficiency to offer effective assistance to other organizations."
Through its executive training courses, academic study cases and position-specific learning programmes, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development provides its members with personalised training with a domestic dimension.
Praising the efforts of the Programme officials, the delegation pointed out Ajman too seeks to generate high-calibre leaders with the capability to contribute to its holistic development.
