Etisalat Academy's eCompetency Center to implement QNB Development Program

The Etisalat Academy's eCompetency Center has been chosen by Qatar National Bank to help develop the skills of 50 of the bank's managers.

This will include the Academy's 'Assessment and Development Program' which is provided in collaboration with a number of the most select and senior consultancies.

The eCompetency Center designed a tailored program for QNB. The first phase of the program will last 12 months, where participants' leadership skills will be assessed using the latest smart questionnaire systems designed by SHL Group (UK), and compared to the most professional indicators regionally and internationally, a specialized development program will be implemented after that, then participants will be re-assessed to help them achieve competitive performance.

The first phase of the program commenced in the Doha Palace Hotel in Qatar. It was attended by Mr. Ali Al Imadi, CEO Qatar National Bank, Mr. Ali Al Kuwari, Operational Manager QNB, Mariam Mohammad, eCompetency Centre Manager, Suzan Annie, Consultant, eCompetency Centre, and many other senior managers from the bank.

Dr. Doaa Faris, Manager, Etisalat Academy, said: 'Etisalat Academy's eCompetency center has proven its high standards and its ability to prepare participants to help QNB achieve their goals through rigourous assessment and development of its workforce. The eCompetency Center has organized similar programs for many institutions working in the UAE and the gulf region within banking as well across the public and private sectors - these programs have achieved great results for their participants.'

eComptency Center will organize four specialized workshops to showcase, assess the competencies of managerial level at QNB. They will identify required steps for developing their skills. A special team consisting of consultants from Etisalat Academy and other international leading companies will be allocated for coordination and continuous follow-up with QNB team through the entire program's duration.
