- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, January 23 - 2008 at 10:22
- PRESS RELEASE
Registrations for the 'Workplace Freedom' seminars, organized by CitySpace, has witnessed professionals from various design backgrounds registering to learn from leading international specialists about workplace-related developments and innovations held at the Office Exhibition 2008 from the 4th to the 6th of February.
The seminars play an important role in creating awareness of the benefits in providing a motivating and productive working environment conducive to knowledge sharing, communication, and innovation to the workforce.
"A well-designed workplace enhances a company's image by reinforcing its corporate identity and brings a positive impact to the way people collaborate and work. The office should therefore be designed around human interaction, creative freedom and physical comfort as the basic provision for employees to enhance productivity," added Jon.
CitySpace plans and designs the layout of the interior office space of a building to meet the needs of the user by not only positioning the physical elements such as walls, desks and chairs strategically but also taking into account the office amenities, gadgets, IT and communication systems, sound, air and light control within a specified space. Ideas on these will be highlighted in the seminar.
Topics covered in the upcoming seminars include the work and philosophy of Charles and Ray Eames, how to create office space for innovation, how global warming could impact the way we work, corporate social responsibility, the tactile office, ergonomics, flexibility to change using the benefits of cable management flooring solutions, the impact of technology on human efficiency and intelligent storage solutions.
Speakers confirmed include specialists from Vitra, Steelcase, Herman Miller, Ahrend, Movinord, Wilkhahn, Sedus, CitySpace, In-Lite, EKA Group, Camira Fabrics, Interface FLOR, Creative Management, Colebrook Bosson Saunders and Elektrak International. The seminars are free of charge to trade professionals visiting the exhibition and will cover a comprehensive range of topics during the exhibition from 2pm through to 6pm.
