Krystal Dinner Show makes Dubai debut during DSF 2008 in world famous Grand Spiegel-tent

The Grand Spiegel-tent is being brought to the UAE for the first time during DSF 2008 to accommodate the exclusive Krystal Dinner Show.

Set against the elite backdrop of the luxury yacht marina in the elegant grandeur of Le Meridien, Mina Seyahi- the Krystal Dinner Show combines fine dining and flamboyant entertainment throughout this year's DSF from January 24 to February 24.

Five-star cuisine and world-class entertainment comprising of a cast of 20 international artistes - singers, acrobats, aerialists, dancers, musicians and comedy performers - in the mesmerising beauty and unique ambience of the nostalgic Grand Spiegeltent, makes The Krystal Dinner show a 'must-see event. The Grand Spiegel-tent is a 26-metre diameter mobile structure constructed of wood, canvas and mirrors, ornately decorated with grandiose stained glass windows and opulent velvet interior. The intricate design includes intimate booths, a stage with art nouveau chandeliers. Its origin derives from its usage in the late 19th Century as mobile dance halls travelling from European town to towns. It offers a unique entertainment experience for audiences. The atmosphere that the performance space provides is steeped in nostalgia and history.

Over the years Spiegel-tents have hosted some of the world's greatest performing artistes including German singer Marlene Dietrich who famously performed Falling in Love again, in a Spiegeltent during the 1930's.
