Dubai Bone & Joint Center to chair Arab Health conference

Participating at the Arab Health Conference for the consecutive third year, Dubai Bone and Joint Centre will highlight its status as the 'backbone' of the region's medical community.
The Arab Health Conference runs from running from January 28-31 at the Dubai International Convention Centre.
"Arab Health and the musculoskeletal conference provide a common platform for doctors to discuss vital progression in musculoskeletal diseases and disorders which is crucial to ensure advanced healthcare is available to patients in the Middle East," stated Dr. Humeira Badsha, Special Rheumatologist at Dubai Bone and Joint Center.
The musculoskeletal conference, chaired by Dr. Badsha, aims to educate general physicians on the current state of the disease and latest advances in the field, with delegates attending from across the Middle East including the UAE and experts from the USA and Europe.
The event will also allow DBAJ to share recent discoveries made by its doctors' research and education programs, in cooperation with international affiliations with the Amsterdam University. By conducting research on the areas of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoporosis as well as Gene Therapy, DBAJ will disclose evidence and studies on the pervasiveness of such diseases in the Middle East and how to best help patients in the course of treatment and the cure of such diseases.
"The conference provides DBAJ an opportunity to continue efforts in meeting the highest international standards in musculoskeletal care," added Dr. Badsha. "This 'meeting of the minds' allows us to demonstrate our expertise in this field. Patients locally can feel content that to know expert treatment is available within their own country rather than having to traveling abroad for medical care."
During Arab Health 2008, Dubai Bone and Joint Center will continue to boost its profile as the primary center for musculoskeletal treatment and research in the Middle East, offering patients world-class specialists and facilities, as it strives to deliver sustainable results and improve quality of life in the region.
