4 outlets shut down, 507 fined in Fujairah

The Public Health Section of Fujairah Municipality closed four shops, fined 507 outlets, and issued warnings to 1,535 other outlets in 2007, reported Gulf News. The inspection teams paid a total of 1,273 inspection visits during 2007 to check the edibility of food and beverage products at outlets and public markets.
