With a biotechnology sector already employing over 15,000 people it is no surprise that continual expertise and ingenuity are emerging from Wales.
Wales is now home to one of the UK's most established bioscience clusters including one of the top universities in the United Kingdom which houses the academic centre of excellence, namely the 'Wound Healing Research Unit' at Cardiff University and during the last year the University's Sir Martin Evans received the Nobel Prize for his pioneering work in stem cell research.

Another award winning company present at the exhibition will be Performance Health Products, who design and manufacture seating products for wheelchair users in the form of modular components, which provide the supplier and user with an extensive range of permutations for virtually any size, shape and condition of client.
Performance Health Products export to 23 countries worldwide including Saudi Arabia and want to explore the possibilities in other Middle East countries. They are seeking to arrange visits to hospitals in the UAE through existing and prospective new dealers and also in Kuwait and Qatar.
