'Al Awael Group knows of Cairo ICT's success in attracting substantial professionals, speakers, massive attendance and diverse topics of discussions and we find this an excellent opportunity to participate this year in such a powerful forum,' said Al Awael Group Marketing Manager Mohamed Sherif. 'Cairo ICT will be addressing how technology and finance have converged-and so we have decided to launch our software 'Al Moasher' for the first time in the upcoming Cairo ICT exhibition.'

The Cairo ICT 2008 forum is held from the 24th to the 27th of February under the auspices of H.E. Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Tarek Kamel in the Cairo International Conference Center (CICC). This year's forum will cover various aspects of the slogan 'The M Power,' relating to Mobility, Media, Money and Management.

'ICT is restructuring the banking and financial service industries with new offerings such as online trading and banking,' said Ossama Kamal, CEO of Trade Fairs, the organizer of Cairo ICT. 'It is important that Cairo ICT reflect this trend by expanding on our previous success in addressing the financial industry and so we are pleased to have Al Awael's participation in the event.'

Al Awael Group updates and develops websites and its experts have contributed to 30 other companies in the Al-Khartoum information technology, communications and media exhibition in Sudan in November 2007 and launched two software programs. In 2008, Al Awael will launch its most recent technology 'Al Moasher' software in Cairo ICT.

Al Moasher has an advanced sorting feature and predefined user criteria so users can easily monitor the quotes, charts and performance of daily Egyptian stock market.

'Al-Moasher has been designed to fit local market considerations through all investors' segments where you easily scan daily stock market performance,' Sherif said.

Al-Moasher has three main applications: a web-based application, a desktop platform, and a mobile application. All of which helps users to communicate through their preferable needs to trade, make decisions and access all the important information at any time.

'Al Moasher's web application is an efficient monitoring solution with the ability to trade. You can access it anywhere through a full screen and use advanced charting to help you track stocks in real time,' said Sherif. 'Al-Moasher's mobile application has data delivery and download speeds that are increasing considerably. It delivers streaming quotes in real-time so you can stay aware of the Egyptian stock market.'

Al-Moasher desktop has been designed for newcomers, active traders and professional investors who want the latest in technology and usability to make their decisions. With a completely customizable interface users can tailor the program to their needs and style. They can also spot long and short-term trends using a wide range of charting timeframes.

'Cairo ICT 2008 revolves around how technology empowers all facets of society through various sectors and shapes beginning with how it shapes our Minds-in addition to opening new vistas in issues like e-Government, m-Government, among others, on a regional scale,' said Kamal.

One of the major highlights of Cairo ICT 2008, Finland will be the guest of honor through official participation, high level presence of government officials and professionals, in the largest of its kind between North and South. There will be a special session of ICT investment and cooperation opportunities between Egypt and the UAE will be held in an attempt towards serious integration. Moreover, plans are underway for a session on cooperation between Asian and African Arab countries.

'Trade Fairs is looking forward to expanding the commitment of Cairo ICT to the financial sector. We expect that by providing a large venue for discussions about the convergence of ICT and financial markets, the forum will continue to be the premier event in the region for professionals to network with each other,' Kamal said.
