Dunes Tower commences ground work

Main phase of construction commenced for Dunes Tower today after the official Ground Breaking Ceremony held at the site.
Speaking to a select gathering, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed Zayed Saqer Al-Nahyan, managing director, Reef Real Estate Investment Company said, 'Dubai is considered among the world's most exciting places to live, work and visit and we are delighted to be part of its amazing growth. Dunes Tower will give residents an outstanding living experience in the city's most desirable residential area - Jumeirah Village. Highest quality of material is being used in its construction to ensure the best to our customers.'
Dunes Tower combines beautiful Arabesque design elements with distinctive contemporary architecture. Residents would have a choice of studios and 1 & 2 bedroom apartments with balconies and terraces overlooking the sumptuous surroundings.
Wadih Farah, Project Manager, Reef Real Estate Investment Co, elaborated, 'The total cost of the project is Dhs300m. We are doing our best to complete construction, hopefully ahead of schedule. The finest materials and equipment are being used to ensure a flawless finish. The apartments are really spacious. While studios are in an area of 600 square feet, one bedroom apartments and two bedroom apartments are spread out in an area of 1000 square feet and 1500 square feet respectively.'
The project plan also includes world-class coffee shops, restaurants, health clubs and swimming pools. Dunes Tower is slated for completion by mid of 2010.
Jumeirah Village is a self contained community development and boasts unsurpassed leisure and lifestyle amenities.
