Global Banking Corporation strengthens compliance

Global Banking Corporation (GBCORP) today announced the appointment of Khalid Al Jaber as Head of Compliance.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Al Jaber brings a wealth of knowledge and financial skill to GBCORP. Possessing a highly-credited employment record Al Jaber's exceptional career and training qualifies him as a specialist in applying Central Bank of Bahrain Rulebook Requirements for Islamic Banks, anti-money laundering and combating financing of terrorists.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Khalid Al Jaber said: "As Head of Compliance at Global Banking Corporation I look forward to working with my team to ensure all business is fully Sharia'a compliant and that GBCORP operates in a risk free environment. Mr Khalid Al Jaber holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from North Texas State University, USA, with a major in Marketing and Management. Currently he is pursuing an Executive MBA from the University of Bahrain in Business Administration in Finance & Banking. Throughout his career he has completed numerous technical training courses, fully qualifying him in areas such as Islamic Finance and Investment techniques, management and strategic leadership, as well as holding positions on various committees including The National Policy Committee for the Prohibition and Prevention of Money Laundering and the UN Convention against Corruption Committee.
