Middle East internet services down

Internet services across the Middle East have been hit, after an undersea cable near Egypt was damaged. Services throughout the gulf countries were disrupted, with some areas losing all access. In the UAE, du services were down for much of the afternoon, with areas such as Media City unable to get any internet access. Officials said it could be a couple of days before services are fully back up and running.
