Six authors have been shortlisted for The International Prize for Arabic Fiction, which was launched in April 2007 and is the first of its kind, reported Gulf News. The winner of the 'Arabic Booker' prize, which will be announced at a gala dinner in Abu Dhabi on March 10, will take home $50,000.
