US journalist calls Awqaf minister in Oman

Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Salmi, minister of Awqaf and religious affairs, received at his office yesterday Professor Robert Cablin, US journalist, thinker and writer, who is currently visting Oman, reported Oman Times. In a statement to reporters, Professor Cablin visiting the Sultanate for the first time, said that he is preparing a book on the countries overlooking the Indian Ocean including Oman. He will visit a number of tourist and archeological sites and museums in the Sultanate in addition to meeting a number of officials, he added. He has written more than 14 books on travel and tourism, especially on Arab countries in the Middle East.
