Al Maha Ceramics to showcase products at Interiors & Buildex 2008

Al Maha Ceramics, a leading manufacturer in Oman of wall and floor tiles, will present its whole range of products at Interiors & Buildex 2008, which will be held on March 17-19 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat.
The company, which is part of Al Anwar Holdings SAOG, has built a world-class manufacturing facility of wall and floor tiles. Its plant at the Sohar Industrial Area is equipped with advanced technology and state-of-the-art machinery. Using imported raw materials from Italy and Spain, it has a production capacity of up to 5 million square meters of tiles per annum.
According to General Manager Suresh Deshmukh, Al Maha Ceramics gives particular attention to constant innovation to effectively serve the needs of its customers. The company's new range of designer tiles includes glazed wall and floor tiles that are available in a variety of shades and innovative designs to suit every décor. It has also developed large-format wall tiles, in addition to regular ones, thus giving customers a much wider choice for all their building requirements.
He revealed that, as part of its comprehensive expansion plans, Al Maha Ceramics is focused not only in boosting its local market share but also in exporting its products to all other countries in the GCC as well as to Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. The company is likewise looking at India as major potential market for its high-quality products.

Paul explained that Interiors & Buildex will showcase a wide range of products including all types of building materials, bathroom fittings, air-conditioning systems, construction equipment, paint products, interior furnishings, lighting fixtures, and cement products. Many leading companies from Oman as well as exhibitors from Turkey, UAE, the UK, Spain and many other countries have already signed up for the event, making it the premier exhibition for the building and construction industry in Oman.
Interiors & Buildex 2008 is supported by Windows 2000 as the platinum sponsor, Jotun Paints and Sadolin Paints as the gold sponsors, and IQue as the silver sponsor. The event is also endorsed by UK Trade and Investment, and its media partners are Middle East Tenders, the BNC Network, and the OER Construction Dossier.
