First speech contest for students

School students are being urged to take part in an international speech contest being held in Bahrain for the first time in April, reported Gulf Daily News. The event is part of the Bahrain Toastmasters Annual Conference (BTAC), scheduled for April 25 and 26, at the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE), Juffair. It is being organised under the theme of Adhari: Spring of Life, under the patronage of Information Minister Jihad Bukamal. An Inter-School Youth International Speech Contest and an Arabic International Speech Contest will be held for the first time, along with four regular Toastmaster speech contests.There will also be four educational presentations and workshops featuring four of the finest speakers in the Middle East.
