Kuwait revamps healthcare

US health experts are here to assess and develop medical services in the country, a Kuwaiti official said, reported KUNA. The visit aims to evaluate the health situation at a cancer center and a chest disease university. Khalid Al-Sahlawi, undersecretary of the Ministry of Health said discussions were made about bolstering and developing cooperation in the field of medical technology with a view to improving health services in Kuwait.The US medical team will visit the Hussein Makki Jumaa Cancer Center and the chest hospital, Al-Sahlawi added.
