Sales of the E-Class continued to prove strong and Mercedes-Benz plans some exciting offers later this year before the next generation vehicle arrives in 2009.
The M-Class and full-size GL-Class sports utility vehicles continued to show gains with a significant increase in deliveries over January 2007.
"Following another record year, we have come out of the blocks at full speed to record our best January ever," said Frank Bernthaler, Director, Sales and Marketing, Mercedes-Benz Cars, Middle East and Levant.
"With an exciting year ahead with five updated models as well as the addition of a compact SUV, I am expecting Mercedes-Benz sales to set another record."
In 2007, Mercedes-Benz Cars, Middle East and Levant, set a new sales record with 16,816 units, up seven percent on the previous year.
