Recently Hilton Egypt hosted the International Sales Conference 2008 of the different Hilton Family of Brands world wide.
As an active member towards the Egyptian community and part of Hilton's corporate social responsibility, Hilton donated the amount of LE 25,000 that were initially planned as giveaways to the guests to Dar El Orman Association in a donation ceremony on the 29th of January that took place at the Conrad Cairo Hotel. Mr. James Farrow, Senior Vice President Sales Hilton International handed the check to Mrs. Sahar El Sherbini Executive Manager of Dar El Orman Association. Attendees also included Mr. Bob Dircks Senior Vice President Sales Hilton Hotels and Jan Monkedieck General Manager of Conrad Cairo.
Mrs. El Sherbini expressed her gratitude towards this donation and declared that this will play a very big role in supporting the orphans and some families through buying blankets to protect them from the winter's cold weather.
"The Hilton Family of Hotels adheres to the founder; Conrad Hilton's philosophy, stating that: "It has been, and continues to be, our responsibility to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality."
