Cathay Pacific introduces 3 additional flights between Dubai and Mumbai

Cathay Pacific Airways, which is celebrating its 30th years of operations in the UAE, today announced that it will fly daily between Dubai and Mumbai effective on the 29th February.
Currently, Cathay Pacific operates four flights a week between Hongkong and Dubai via Bangkok and Mumbai, the additional three flights shall operate between Hongkong and Dubai via Mumbai only.
"The passenger traffic between Dubai and India is the fastest growing segment. Passengers often want to have a premium airline service with affordable rates. Cathay Pacific will answer this need in the market as it is good value for your money and the daily service shall be greatly appreciated by frequent travelers, businessmen and Indian expatriates alike. Having daily flights will have a great impact in the further expansion of both tourism and business between these two nations" said Mr Nasir Khan, General Manager, Al Naboodah Travel & Tourism.
Cathay Pacific began flying from Hong Kong to India 25 years ago, launching a passenger's service to Mumbai in January 1982. Delhi was added as a passenger destination in March 2001 and the airline also operates scheduled freighter flights to Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai. In addition to the Cathay Pacific India enhancements, sister airline Dragonair will launch a daily flight to Bangalore, the country's information technology hub, on 1 May, using an A330-300 aircraft.
Effective 29 February, Cathay Pacific Airways will soon offer 17 non-stop flights a week departing from Dubai. The airline will provide 7 non-stop flights to Mumbai and 10 non-stop flights to Hong Kong.
