Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan inaugurates fourth edition of IREIS

Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, inaugurated the fourth and largest-ever edition of IREIS (the Abu Dhabi Real Estate and Investments Show) which opened today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

IREIS is being held 30th January to 2nd February, 2008 under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

After inaugurating IREIS 2008, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan toured the exhibition and expressed keen interest in the wide range of property projects on display at the event.

Exhibit space at this year's edition has reached 10,000 square meters, an increase of 45% over the previous edition held in 2007. The number of exhibitors has also increased from 52 at last year's event to 83 this time.

Several major property projects were launched on the first day of IREIS including the Skygardens development from Plus Properties; Tameer Towers, Elite Residence, Imperial Tower and The Gate by Tameer; the Al Zeina Precinct by Aldar and the Manazel Towers 4 and 5 in Sharjah and the Marbella Bay at Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah by Mumtalakat Real Estate.

Among the other leading property projects that were showcased at the event were Sorouh Real Estate's Shams Abu Dhabi, Gate District and the Al Ghadeer developments and Al Qudra Real Estate's Evegate and Ain Al Faydaa projects.

Pearl Properties is displaying its Palasades, Pearl Mizin, Pearl Jumeirah and Hikma Tower projects at IREIS and several leading celebrities including Nancy Ajram, Assi Hallani, Lamita Franjieh and Pascal Machaalani are expected to visit the Pearl Properties stand at the show.

IREIS 2008 exhibitors include master developers, property development companies, real estate agents and major financial institutions. UAE participants at IREIS 2008 include Aldar Properties, Sorouh Real Estate, Al Qudra Real Estate, Hydra Properties, Falcon City of Wonders, Mumtalakat Real Estate, Plus Properties, Pearl Properties, Damac Properties and Real Estate Bank.

Among the international participants at IREIS 2008 are America 2030 Equity LLC from the US, Groupo Alicante Urbana from Spain, Qatar Sotheby's International Realty from Qatar and Hajar Tower Real Estate Company from Kuwait.

Manazel Real Estate is the Platinum Sponsor for the event and Plus Properties the Gold Sponsor.

IRIES 2008 will open daily from 10 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm. On Friday, the show will be open from 4 pm to 9 pm.
