The Babylonian-themed resort won 'Best Resort' and General Manager Duncan O'Rourke won 'Hotelier of the Year' at the 3rd Annual Grumpy Gourmet Awards held in Jordan. The victory came hot on the heels of the resort winning the 'New Hotel 2007' citation at the World Hotel Awards in Germany.

Picking up the two most coveted trophies at the Grumpy Gourmet Awards has positioned the hotel in a league of its own, winning the 'Best Resort' category for the second year running. Established in Jordan in 1995, Grumpy Gourmet is a leading hospitality industry supporter and critic, committed to recognising service and quality standards in the hotel and restaurant sector. This year's edition of the Grumpy Gourmet Awards included hotels from both Jordan and Lebanon, upping the competition stakes significantly with a host of excellent participants from across the two countries.
