The company recently integrated with sister concern Exomos and has finalized its management restructuring. It is now ready to take on the growing marine leisure market.

The new Palm Marine management team is led by CEO Mr. Simon Honeybone, who comes with a wealth of experience and expertise in luxury yacht designing and building. A Master of Management from Sydney, Australia, Simon has been involved with the establishment of shipyards in New Zealand, Thailand, Japan, China and Canada for building luxury yachts.

Palm Marine's initial focus will be on Dubai's fast-forward water fronts developments. The Arabian Gulf has recently been stretched again through the desert by the almost 70-kilometre Arabian Canal. New man-made islands rise, new water lands form and the desert turns into Venetian landscapes.

Dubai's coastline will be extended by 800km - more than 12 times its present size. The new Manhattans - bigger than the original - become home to new communities defining lifestyles dramatically different.

Palm Marine is poised for the new shorelines, where marine leisure is set to be redefined.

Mr. Honeybone said: 'Palm Marine is ready for the emerging landscape of Dubai. The new shorelines and waterfronts offer immense possibilities for marine leisure. The demand for luxury yachts and commercial boats will be as much rising as the growing shores. Ocean living will be an integral part of waterland Dubai's future.'

'Palm Marine's new corporate identity highlights the coming together of professional expertise and experience in top-of-the-line luxury yacht and commercial boat designing, building and servicing.'

'The company also foresees the rising demand for allied services, including passenger taxis, ferries, service vessels, firefighters, marine ambulances, patrol vessels and trash collectors.'

'With the restructured management and new identity, we are now positioned to lead the marine leisure market. Palm Marine has aligned with top international yacht designers and has put together a strong design and management department.'

'The new shores are getting ready and Palm Marine is revved up to be part of Dubai's new lifestyle.'
