1200 satellite channels for Mideast by 2015

Salah Hamza, CEO of Cairo-based satellite operator Nilesat, said the Middle East should have 1200 satellite channels by 2015, reported the UK's Rapid TV News. Hamza said he expects the total channel count to grow from today's near-900 channels to nearer 1200 by 2015.
