- PRESS RELEASE
Zulekha Hospital Dubai has started work on a new in-patient wing at the Dubai facility.

Facility revamp is currently being carried on for the departments of Gynaecology, Operation Theatres, Pre Labour, Delivery and Neonatal suites which would enable the Hospital in Dubai to serve an addition of 300 to 400 patients.
Additionally, Zulekha Healthcare Group has recently installed, at their Dubai campus, the latest Siemens Avento series MRI machine. Powered with 1.5 Tesla, this scanner improves accuracy and speed of diagnoses thereby increasing the number of MRI scans. The heart care centre (SCIRC) was also upgraded with IVUS and Rotablator facilities.
The Group will have another reason to celebrate 2008. Zulekha Hospital Dubai and Sharjah recently underwent the healthcare audit for accreditation by the Joint Commission International (JCI).
JCI is a division of the America-based Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO), which is the largest accreditator of healthcare organization in the USA.
The JCI audit was part of the group's endeavour to grade and improve its care and facility program beaming the promise towards its patient - "your health matters"
