Showcasing selected projects under development in different parts of the GCC property markets, RAKAA's pavilion was a magnetic draw for real estate investors and visitors. The Saudi-based company made us of the show to continued its success, building on its wide reputation in the region and gaining further international exposure through strong presence, as well as extensive media coverage throughout the region.
Commenting on this participation, Dr Abdulraman Al-Tassan, CEO of RAKAA Properties, said,
"Our participation in this exhibition was based on an in-depth study of the property market in the UAE, considering the property projects that were in highest demand, following the latest trends and developments in the market, guided by "Plan Abu Dhabi 2030" - the Urban Structure Framework Plan recently unveiled by the Government of Abu Dhabi for the development of the city of Abu Dhabi and for guiding the planning decisions for the next quarter of a century. RAKAA's launch of smart home technologies-equipped towers in Abu Dhabi is consistent with our efforts to add value to the property market and to express our unwavering commitment to the ongoing evolution of Abu Dhabi as a global capital city."
"We are confident of our ability to achieve our ambitious goals. This optimism is derived from the buoyancy and dynamism of the property market in the UAE capital, which augurs well for the future. This market is projected to have unprecedented growth in the near future", Al-Tassan added.
The exhibition space at IREIS 2008 occupied 10,000 square meters, a 45% increase from last year's show. The number of exhibitors also increased, growing from 54 participants last year to over 83 participants this year, with a growth rate of 76%.
RAKAA's stand was honoured by visits from several dignitaries, including H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, who reviewed the master plans of RAKAA's signature smart towers: the Falcon Crest Tower and the Dynasty Tower on Al Reem Island. H.H. has shown a great interest in both projects for adopting the latest technologies, and praised their uniqueness and quality.
