Xceed breaks new ground

Xceed, the Global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) contender, operating one of the largest contact centers in the Southern Mediterranean region, has expanded its operations in Cairo's latest technology park "The Smart Village", to accommodate the remarkable growth in the demand for its services.
The new facility is a mirror of Xceed's current facility in terms of software and hardware systems and infrastructure, which reflects the very best of current international contact center standards. The facility is operating at a capacity of 215 seats, which are expected to employ 400 people.
"The new contact center is currently utilized by 60% and employs 230 agents, which reinforces Xceed's position as an industry leader, and the overall industry growth at a macro level," explains Ossama Nazmi Xceed's Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.
"The quality of Egypt's workforce, has enabled Xceed to have global footprints and expand its business with leading fortune five hundred companies which made the decision to expand our operations here an easy one," said Ahmed Refky Xceed's Senior Vice President for Corporate Functions. "Today's announcement reconfirms our commitment to keeping Egypt as one of our primary contact center operation sites, as a result of its proven track record as a location" continues Ahmed Refky.
"Since launching in late 2003 Xceed's contact center operations started with 300 employees, and we have expanded our workforce to about 1,500 over 3 years. The new expansion will increase that total to as many as 2100 employees" said Alaa El Shafei, Xceed's Senior Vice President for Support Functions. The expansion clearly underpins Xceed's success as a leader in the contact center industry not only in Egypt but across the world, as the new facility shall continue to serve clients from across the globe responding to their integrated customer care needs and associated back office processing requirements.
