- PRESS RELEASE
Business Connections, a Scottish based consultancy, has reported continuing success in the growth of its Market Entry Programme scheme for British companies wishing to trade in Kuwait.
The programme dovetails with the introductory trade schemes currently carried out by Embassies and Chambers of Commerce and is designed to offer the next step for British companies actively looking to start trading in Kuwait.
A comprehensive selection of services is offered including travel and logistics support, enquiry handling, market research and office facilities.
Managing Director Donald Smith, explains that their recent work with Scottish engineering company Equalizer International is a prime example of how their local knowledge and contacts can fast-track a company's entry into the Kuwaiti market.
"Equalizer International's participation in our programme has already reaped rewards in the form of firm enquiries and we will be working closely with them to help them achieve their full potential."
Equalizer International, specialists in flange aligning, flange spreading & precision lifting tools, are championing the way in implementing safe practice in flange working procedures during pipeline construction and maintenance.
Keen to bring the safety aspects of their products to the notice of Kuwaiti oil and gas operators, Managing Director Ian McCormick took the strategic decision to use the services of Business Connections Kuwait arm to assist in gaining an entry into the local market.
Ian says, "The Business Connections Market Entry Programme has enabled us to meet with key decision makers in the local oil and gas industry. As a direct result of this we have achieved a level of activity in a matter of weeks that would have taken us many months to do single-handed."
Equalizer International is renowned for its range of products designed to simplify flange working procedures including its innovative Zero-Gap tool, originally designed to separate flanges with no access gaps but equally suited to universal applications.
The bespoke design of Zero-Gap means that the tool improves safety during flange separating procedures both by its operational effectiveness and also by minimizing the risk of human error by being simple and easy to use.
Business Connections is planning on extending its Market Entry Programme to further companies which it feels have products or services of specific interest to Kuwait.
