WB group supports Yemen trade

Minister of Industry and Trade, Yahya al-Mutawakel, held talks with a World Bank delegation, currently visiting Yemen, regarding aid in technical fields offered by the World Bank to support the trade sector in Yemen, reported Business and Economy. The talks dealt with Yemen's ambitions to join the World Trade Organization (WTO), in addition to the possibility of a strategic study on the merger of Yemen's economy with those in the region, especially with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Great Arab Free Trade Zone and Sana'a Forum countries.
