The visit by the Malaysian delegation is part of Dubai eGovernment's ongoing program to enlighten delegates from visiting countries on the full scope of e-Governance.

"Dubai eGovernment has always been keen on sharing its experience and knowledge with other governments around the world, and we are glad to have got this opportunity to exchange views with the Malaysian government, who have developed an efficient eGovernance infrastructure over the years," said Al Shair.

"IT spending by the Malaysian government has been rising steadily year-on-year, which has reflected positively on the overall ICT industry in the country and also on the progress of eGovernance initiatives. We are confident that this visit by senior decision makers from the Malaysian government will provide further boost to Malaysia's eGovernance efforts," he added.
