The expansion of the RAK FTZ Kids Zone, dedicated for the little ones of the zone's staffers and the children of the zone's registered investors and clients, has taken place with the number of the zone's registered companies tremendously increasing.

The RAK FTZ Kids Zone located at the Business Centre of the zone's premises, enrolls children of age group (three and a half months old to four years old).

Amena Al Mazimi, the administrative manager of RAK FTZ said the expansion of the Kids Zone is yet another special service the RAK FTZ provides to its staffers and registered clients as an episode in a chain of state-of-the-art services and facilities.

"The RAK FTZ has provided the Kids Zone with all the necessary capabilities to make it a world-class facility. The set up and expansion of the Kids Zone aim at bringing peace to the hearts and minds of the zone's registered clients and staffers, knowing that their children are basically safe and secured to end up totally focused on their work and business," she said.

Al Mazimi said the RAK FTZ has been achieving robust growth, attracting new companies from around the world. "The expansion of the Kids Zone was inspired by the increasing number of companies being set up at the RAK FTZ which reveals the zone's excellence in setting up comprehensive state of the art facilities and world class services as a part of the zone's integrated infrastructure," she said.

"The RAK FTZ aims at providing a perfect working environment for the zone's personnel and registered clients," he said. "The zone provided the parents with the world's most advanced technology which enables them to monitor their little ones while in the Kids Zone," she added.

Al Mazimi said that the RAK FTZ has also launched a website for the Kids Zone highlighting its facilities, services, registration procedures and presents all the general information and contacting details to enable the parents do all the relative procedures online.

The RAK FTZ has also set up a child's club targeting children of the age group 4-6 years old. "The child's club is a convenient place for children to enjoy their hobbies, make new friends, and do their homework and assignments," said Al Mazimi, adding that the club has been provided with all the possible safety and security means and healthcare to secure maximum safety for the children.

A total of 46 children have already been enrolled with the Kids Zone that was set up in October 2007 and is run by a counselor and a team of experienced teachers which ended the Kids Zone in a big demand of the zone's staffers and investors.
