Zayed University commences second semester

Zayed University's second semester for the 2007-2008 academic year commenced on 10 February, during which 3364 students enrolled in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and 183 cadets from the United Arab Emirates' Armed Forces in Sweihan Campus will attend classes untill the fourth term courses' final assesment which is scheduled in June.
He added that the colleges at Zayed University and its prestigious international partner universities offer innovative graduate programs to enrolled students to prepare them for leadership roles in the UAE.
The university offers a number of graduate programs in Executive Masters in Business Administration, Executive Masters in Public Administration, Executive Management Certificate Program, Executive Masters in Health Care Administration, Master of Education in Educational Leadership, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in International Business, Master of Arts in Tourism Communication, in addition to the Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Administration, Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, Graduate Certificate in High Technology Crime Investigation, Graduate Certificate in Information Security.
In addition Zayed University plans to launch 3 new graduate programs that include Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in International Business and Master of Arts in Tourism Communication. The new programs are scheduled to commence with the start of the second semester.
Dr. Al Jassim also pointed out that Zayed University is currently engaged in cooperative relationships with a number of leading institutions throughout the world in the United States, France, United Kingdom, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, New Zealand.
In addition to Al-Maktoum Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies in Dundee, Scotland and the School of Business Management and Organization of the Foundation Antonio Genovesi Salerno, Italy and Waseda University in Japan.
