RTA appoints a number of competent nationals in key positions

H.E Mattar Al Tayer Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), issued several decisions to appoint a number of competent nationals to fill key positions in RTA's agencies, departments and sections.
The decisions included the appointment of Bassel Ibrahim Saad in the post of Infrastructure Manager at Public Transport Agency. He holds a B. Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering in 1998 from the Al Ain University. Prior to joining the RTA, Saad occupied a number of positions including an Engineering Liaison Manager for the Al Nabodah Contractors, Engineering Office Manager of projects related to the Dubai International Airport and Manager of Planning and Production at the Private Department of H.H. President of the UAE. Saad enjoys a good field activity and diverse administrative capabilities.
The appointments also included Saeed Jumaa Al Blooshi in the post of Events and Activities Manager at the Public Transport Agency. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing) from the College of Business Administration of the UAE University in 2002. Saeed worked for the Dubai Municipality.
The decisions also included the appointment of Amna Ali Al Mutawa in the post of Corporate Planning Manager at the Strategy and Corporate Governance Agency. She holds a High Diploma in Business Administration from the Higher Colleges of Technology in 1994. Al Mutawa occupied a number of positions before joining the RTA in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA) and the Emirates Telecommunications Company "Etisalat." She succeeded to build up good business relations through her trips to a number of European countries over more than ten years with the IT, electronics and telecom companies. Al Mutawa enjoys a number of skills in the project management, coordination and business development.
Among other nationals the RTA has recently appointed in a number of leading positions was Adel Mohammed Al Blooshi in the post of the Contracts and Procurement Manager at the Public Transport Agency.
