Volkswagen Middle East offers free service check ups across the region
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, February 12 - 2008 at 10:35
- PRESS RELEASE
Volkswagen Middle East is offering Volkswagen car owners free vehicle check-ups by Volkswagen Service Clinic experts regardless of the model or the year of the car.
Last year, the Service Clinic made a stop in Bahrain and Jordan, offering checkups to 110 and 140 cars respectively.
The next Service Clinic will be carried out in Saudi Arabia with the Volkswagen partner, Samaco, from 16 to 28 February making stops in three different locations: Jeddah from 16 to 19 February, Riyadh from 20 to 24 February and Khobar from 25 to 28 February.
Made up of a team of workshop mechanics and experts, the Service Clinic is supervised by Jens Mueller, a 12-year veteran of Volkswagen and responsible for technical support at Volkswagen Middle East.
Mueller says, "These Service Clinics are a great opportunity to get our customers in the workshops for a free car check up. This gives them the peace of mind they expect and deserve when owning a Volkswagen."
The procedure is simple, with checkups booked on appointment through Volkswagen Middle East's partner in each market. Typically, 10 vehicles undergo the checkups per day, which include a visual check, road test and on-board diagnosis.
Mueller and his team analyze more than two dozen parts for each car, providing a checklist of what was checked and if the vehicle meets the Volkswagen standards. Depending on the dealership, oil changes are offered free of charge while parts and labour costs may be subject to a discount.
Volkswagen Middle East recommends that vehicles regularly undergo an annual generic checkup to avoid the potential risk of damage and ensure optimal maintenance for their vehicles.
