Sterlite was chosen as the sole manufacturer and supplier for over 17,000km of AAAC Conductors that will be installed in the 4,000km route length of the Accelerated Electrification Programme (AEP) Project being executed under World Bank funding in Ethiopia. Sterlite has built its market share to about 14% in Africa and the Middle East, with its power transmission conductor products sold in 32 countries across the region to reputed turnkey, utility and infrastructure companies such as SONELGAZ (Algeria), EEPCo (Ethiopia), KPLC (Kenya), PHCN (Nigeria), ESKOM (South Africa) and FEWA (UAE), to name but a few.

The show, which covers 34,000 square metres, is 17% larger than last year and features over 900 exhibitors from 55 countries plus 20 country pavilions - it runs through until Wednesday 13th February and is supported by the Federal Electricity and Water Authority and sponsored by C&S Controls and Switchgear, Clipsal, Eaton, Havells Sylvania, Jengan and Jubaili Brothers. The show is open from 10am to 6pm - admission is free for trade professionals.
